Minister Mailis Reps to meet the EU Ministers for Education and the European Commissioner for Science, Research and Innovation in Brussels
On 16-17 February, Minister Mailis Reps will be visiting Brussels to attend the meeting of EU Ministers for Education. Furthermore, Reps will meet the European Commissioner for Science, Research and Innovation Carlos Moedas to discuss items on Estonia's presidency agenda.
The Government Office of Estonia has chosen United Motors Plc to become a major partner for the Estonian presidency of the Council of the European Union, providing 65 VIP vehicles from BMW for the transportation of Heads of State and Government leaders who will be attending high profile events in Estonia.
Minister of Defence Margus Tsahkna met in Stockholm with Swedish Minister of Defence Peter Hultqvist, where they discussed the security situation in Europe as well as defence-related cooperation between Estonia and Sweden.
Foreign Minister Sven Mikser met today in New York with the Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin. Ministers discussed the situation in eastern Ukraine, the Ukraine reform process and integration with the EU.
